X Pac reveals why he turned down a WrestleMania match with Chris Jericho

Sean ‘X Pac’ Waltman opened up about his career on the latest episode of his podcast and talked about the opportunities he missed. Below are some of the highlights from the podcast:

Talking about his career in WWE, X Pac revealed that he thinks he could have had a better career if he had worked harder on his skills and have worked more days:

“I think, for me, I should have worked harder on my mic skills and I should have been a lot easier to deal with and I would have been pushed a lot better. And also, I didn’t allow them to work me more than 15 days a month and when you do that, then it kind of takes a lot of the opportunities off the table.”

Continuing on the topic, the WWE former Star revealed that he once turned down a program leading to a match between him and Chris Jericho at WrestleMania XV because of his contrarian nature:

“I was always a contrarian. I’m going to give you an example and I might’ve told you this one because I’ve told it several times of an example of what a dumbass I was. It was Vince and Shane, ‘we’re thinking of having you work Jericho at ‘Mania for the I.C. belt.’ I’m like, ‘no, I want to finish my program with Kane, which was already way on its last legs, but ‘no, I want to do this.’ So I mean, does that give you an example?”

After this Sean ended up not being a part of official WrestleMania match card and one could only imagine how different his career would have been if he had not ditched the opportunities given to him.
