Former WWE Champion John Cena recently suffered a rotator cuff injury and will have to undergo surgery to repair. Cena posted the following on Twitter:
Rather upside down start to 2016 as tomorrow I will head to Birmingham for shoulder surgery. Life's full of set backs but #nevergiveup

This injury will keep Cena out for 6-9 months. Cena was expected to be a major part of WrestleMania 32, which is being held at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
Cena recently returned to WWE television to feud with Alberto Del Rio.
