Indie wrestler Cameron Wellington, who was only 19 years old, has passed away due to coronavirus according to reports from The Daily Mail.

Wellington used to wrestle in the UK indie scene and he was diagnosed with COVID-19 just last Tuesday. He had to be rushed to the hospital on Wednesday night as his condition worsened.

Unfortunately, the doctors were not able to save the young star and he passed away from the coronavirus just 48 hours after being tested positive.

Cameron Wellington’s parents told the Daily Mail that the wrestling star was “fit and healthy” before he was diagnosed but he had to be put on dialysis and placed in the Intensive Care Unit.

Doctors operated on his lungs as well as his heart after rushing him to a second hospital for specialist care but he passed away shortly after.

We at Wrestling-Edge send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Cameron Wellington.
