A Look at 2011 WWE Pay-Per-View Buys, More on Sin Cara’s Future with WWE

– WWE did a total of 1,598,000 pay-per-view buys in the second quarter of 2011, mostly due to the 1,059,000 buys from WrestleMania 28.

* Extreme Rules 2011 did 209,000 buys, up from 182,000 in 2010.

* Over the Limit 2011 did 140,000 buys, down from 197,000 in 2010.

* Capitol Punishment 2011 scored 170,000 buys, up from Fatal 4 Way doing 143,000 in 2010.

Comparing the 2011 pay-per-views in this quarter, minus WrestleMania 27, up against the 2010 events, the 2011 pay-per-views did 519,000 buys compared to 522,000 in 2010.

– The decision was made yesterday to bring Sin Cara back to the WWE roster after all. Cara’s future with WWE had been up in the air as of late but sources report that as of yesterday, Cara will be coming back.

    I am glad to see Cara back on TV too, he’ll probably job for a little while or something or just pretend it didn’t happen.

    Been getting sick and tired of these “more on Sin Cara’s future” stories as all I have been reading is a bunch of speculation.
    All this shit about WWE cutting him loose was a pile of bullshit stirred up by the dirtsheets.
    If he comes back he comes back, if he doesnt he doesnt … simple as that. Stop trying to speculate and only post stories when you have facts.

    Cara had to come back, he has to turn it all around for Paul, just like Kharma will, when she returns in a year…………………….

    Wrestlemania 28already has 1,059,000 buys??? I The Rock and Cena tweet battle is doing good so far. I am sure MITB ppv is going to have a lot buys. I think it is a good idea to bring back Cara. Many other talents have failed for steriods and were brought back. When Orton got his third strike in 2007, he won the WWE title. Cara will probably just stay at midcard status longer.
