205 Live viewership way up after move to Wednesday night

Last week, it was announced that WWE was moving 205 Live to Wednesday nights, and it looks like the move has already paid off. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, 205’s show last week ranked in the top 5 of the Network’s most watched shows for the first time in months.

The show was moved to Wednesdays and placed right before live episodes of NXT and The Mae Young Classic, so this is a great first sign that the company made the right move. Not only is 205 now airing at a reasonable time, instead of 10 PM on Tuesday nights, it’s part of a night that most wrestling fans are already used to watching wrestling strictly on the Network.

The brand has been nothing short of exceptional for months now, so it’s great to see it finally getting the respect it deserves. The move that allows the show to be a warm-up for NXT seems to be a formula for success, and hopefully even more people start to tune in to 205 Live because it is one of the best brands WWE offers its fans. Catch the cruiserweights in action Wednesday nights at 7 PM ET.
