– Devin sent the following: The presale password for the three-hour Raw event on December 14th at the American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi, Texas is JCENA. The pre-sale begins today at Ticketmaster at 10am.
– As noted before, Highspots is auctioning off the original NWA World Heavyweight title belt. This is the same title held by Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair. Flair, the previous owner of the title belt, reportedly used it as collateral for a loan from Highspots and was unable to repay the loan. Highspots.com has set up a page where you can bid on the title belt (starting at $75,000). Highspots has already received a $75,000 bid, so owning this piece of pro wrestling history will not come cheap.
– Soccer website Goal.com has an article about WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin attending a recent Premiere League game in the UK. “I always enjoy enjoying sports, especially US football,” Austin said. “But this is totally different. I went in front of the crowd and there was a lot of adrenalin going out there!” He added, “It was exciting. This is my first football [soccer] game .. I’m going to turn into a fan when I go back over to the States.”
