WWE Fire Ten Stars Before SmackDown

WWE fans were hit with more disappointing news as the company announced yet another round of talent releases. This announcement follows a prior wave of releases that included prominent names like Xyon Quinn, Xia Li, Jinder Mahal, Von Wagner, and Cameron Grimes. Unfortunately, the trend continued with WWE confirming the release of additional talent, further adding to the roster shake-up.

According to PWInsider.com, the latest wave of releases includes several NXT talents. Those departing are Ezekiel Balogun, Julian Baldi, Trey Bearhill, Emmamaria Diaz—who gained attention from her appearances on the WWE Roku Channel series “WWE: Next Gen”—Valentina Feroz, Drew Gulak, Keyshawn Leflore, Darrell Mason, Vlad Pavlenko, and Kiyah Saint.

These releases reflect WWE’s ongoing adjustments to its talent roster, driven by evolving business strategies and creative directions. While some of the departing talents were recognized for their work on WWE’s Roku Channel series, others were active competitors in NXT. Drew Gulak’s release, while not entirely unexpected given recent allegations made by Ronda Rousey, still comes as a blow to many fans.

The announcement has startedd speculation about the impact of these departures on the future direction of WWE’s NXT brand, as well as how it might affect upcoming storylines and shows.
