Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, “The primary reason for all of these terrible protests is Crooked Joe Biden. He is unable to talk, unable to reason, unable to put two simple sentences together, unable to even climb 3 steps to a helicopter, or the main stairs to Air Force One. In other words, his mind and body are shot. He is also, and has always been, a very dishonest man, a Manchurian Candidate, of sorts, receiving money, for no apparent reason, from foreign countries, and blatantly prosecuting his Political Opponent in an attempt to win the Presidential Election of 2024. This is Election Interference only used by Third World Countries. Now we have the protests, and Crooked Joe Biden doesn’t know what to do — Next will be World War Three, and everything else! We are a Nation in Serious Decline, a Failing Nation, but we will not be a Failing Nation much longer. Four years ago we were a GREAT NATION, AND WE WILL SOON BE A GREAT NATION AGAIN!!! MAGA2024.”
Former President Donald Trump recently addressed that a group of major GOP donors at Mar-a-Lago Saturday night with a 75-minute “profanity-laced speech” and compared the Biden administration with Nazi Germany as multiple reports revealed.
As per The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman and Shane Goldmacher — who obtained audio of the event, Trump made the stunning comparison to a room full of big-time contributors.
“These people are running a Gestapo administration,” Trump said. “And it’s the only thing they have. And it’s the only way they’re going to win, in their opinion, and it’s actually killing them.”
The Times’ account was corroborated by CNN’s Manu Raju in an on-air report Sunday morning.
“Behind closed doors last night, at his Mar-a-Lago club, Donald Trump took out his anger over his litany of criminal charges, delivering a fiery and profanity laced speech in front of big donors and GOP officials,” Raju said. He continued:
The former president compared president Biden’s administration to Nazi Germany, accusing Democrats of, quote, “running a gestapo administration,” according to several attendees. He cursed while criticizing special counsel Jack Smith and other prosecutors who have charged him with committing crimes.
Trump has also cited his various court cases in email blasts to smaller donors in a bid to raise funds. His campaign noted that they raised more than $76 million in April and $65 million in March, as Trump works to catch up to Joe Biden’s $155 million coffer.
CNN correspondent Alayna Treene stated that Trump also baselessly claimed that “Democrats are the ones behind the series of criminal indictments that he is facing.”
Saturday’s fundraiser was considered the “main attraction” of the Republican National Committee’s annual retreat in Palm Beach. CNN had reported that “hundreds of people” attended the event, and several attendees “gave $40,000 or more.”
“At another point, Trump called on those gathered at his resort and offered them the opportunity to speak at the podium for $1 million,” sources told CNN. “Two donors ultimately came to the stage, with one using the podium to claim God chose Trump to lead the country, they said.”
