UFC President Dana White recently talked about UFC fighters stepping into the ring for WWE.
It has been noted that over the years, there have been several MMA fighters who have jumped ship to pro wrestling. Among these names are legends like Ronda Rousey, Ken Shamrock, Kevin Randlemen and more.
It has been noted that while speaking after Saturday’s UFC Fight Night event, Dana White was asked about the possibility of UFC fighters stepping into a WWE ring with White noted he doesn’t have an issue with it, especially now that Vince McMahon isn’t around to ‘keep fucking him’.
“Well, I didn’t know that, but yeah, I would do anything for Derrick Lewis. I really like Derrick Lewis a lot, so. Listen some of the some of the fighters who fight here have always dreamed about doing a WWE match or whatever it is. I don’t have a problem with that. I mean, I didn’t have a problem with that when Vince was consistently fucking me for no reason and now that that’s not the case anymore I obviously would absolutely do it.”
Dana was then questioned if he would ever consider making an appearance as a special guest referee in WWE, with White stating that would “never happen”. Former UFC fighter turned professional wrestler Tom Lawlor reacted to White’s comments, finding them pretty amusing.
