Diddy’s alleged associate, Brendan Paul, has reached a favorable resolution in his drug case, avoiding any jail time. Brendan’s lawyer, Brian Bieber, confirmed that Brendan accepted the prosecutor’s offer to enter a diversion program. Upon completion of the program, the case against him will be dismissed entirely.
The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s representative also confirmed this arrangement, noting that it’s a standard offer for non-violent defendants with no prior convictions. Brendan, who faced a felony drug charge, has enrolled in a drug diversion program expected to last about six months. While the case is technically still pending until the program is completed, Brendan won’t face jail time or probation if he successfully finishes the course.
Brendan’s arrest stemmed from a March incident at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, where authorities allegedly found cocaine and marijuana candy in his possession. Previously working as Diddy’s main assistant, Brendan faced one felony count of drug possession.
His arrest coincided with raids on Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes, part of an investigation into allegations of sex trafficking and illegal gun possession. Diddy, who has denied the allegations in several civil lawsuits, was not detained following the raids. His attorney criticized the raids as an “excessive show of force,” maintaining Diddy’s innocence.
