There have been multiple speculations regarding the future of NXT star Adam Cole. He seems to have AEW as an option where his girlfriend, Women’s World Champion Britt Baker D.M.D works. The company successfully launched its newest show AEW Rampage at Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, PA and the former Undisputed Era member seemed to have kept his eyes on the show, especially Baker’s match as she successfully retained her title against Red Velvet. Cole had Tweeted: “#Brittsburgh”, noting Baker’s billed location that is Pittsburgh.

Adam Cole is yet to decide his future
Cole’s contract with WWE’s NXT brand had expired out in July, and Canyon Ceman took some heat for that. The former NXT Champion had agreed to stay around until August 22nd’s NXT TakeOver: 36 event as he signed a short extension.
Ringside News had reported that there isn’t a “major push” to keep Cole around WWE. The former NXT Champion did meet with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon prior to SmackDown to discuss his options. McMahon reportedly took a liking to Cole in that meeting as well.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Adam Cole has not made up his mind about what he wants to do in the future. Tony Khan denied offering Cole a deal at this point, but it’s hard to believe he wouldn’t be welcomed with open arms in AEW. Roman Reigns ‘Breaks Character’ With Paul Heyman
Adam Cole met with Vince McMahon on 8/6 in Tampa before the show. The meeting was said to have gone well and the writing team was told to come up with scenarios for him. As of the latest word, he hadn’t decided on what he was going to do.
