There have been speculations revolving around the future of NXT star Adam Cole. It was previously noted that he had short contract extension till the recently concluded NXT TakeOver 36, where he seemingly had his final match in NXT as he lost a 2 out of 3 falls match to Kyle O’Reilly and now it is being speculated that he could be headed to All Elite Wrestling.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Cole is not planned to be a part of WWE’s main roster at this point. They asked around about it, and despite his meeting with Vince McMahon that isn’t happening.
He had not signed a new contract as of this past weekend. We spoke with sources backstage at WWE Raw tonight, and confirmed he is not planned for tonight’s show in any capacity, either.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had previously told main roster writers to get ideas ready for Cole, but those plans obviously aren’t being used right now. We’ll have to see what’s next for Cole, but he is not planned to be on RAW tonight.
