Adam Cole on Undisputed Era receiving positive crowd reaction

While the Undisputed Era started as a heel faction and they are still portrayed as villains in NXT, due to their work in the development territory, they are mostly cheered by the audience wherever they go.

During a recent interview with Edge and Christian on E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness, the former North American Champion Adam Cole talked about a number of wrestling related topics.

While speaking about the positive crowd reaction his faction receives, the former Champion said that they have come on terms with it and they try to get their opponent cheered when in ring competition begins:

“We have come to terms with the fact that when we walk through the curtain, we’re probably going to get a positive response. Before we used to think, okay, what can we do on television or how can we walk out, how can we get the people to hate us kind of from the gate?’ And instead, we’ve kind of embraced the idea, ‘okay, they’re going to be excited to see us, but once the match starts, we’re going to really get them over time to root for our babyface opponents’ and we do run into that, which is good.”

Apart from this, Adam Cole also talked about being real life friends with Undisputed Era members, the addition of Roderick Strong to the team and more.
