NXT Champion Adam Cole will be defending his title against Matt Riddle on the October 2nd episode of NXT. However, he is not in the best condition right now.
On FW4Online, Dave Meltzer reported that Cole was removed from NXT’s Midwest tour. He reportedly had a cast on his right wrist.
It is unsure what this means for his title match against Matt Riddle next week. NXT did report that Cole might have suffered a fracture owing to Riddle applying his armbar. So on the chance that Cole does not compete, that could be used in a storyline for him to be removed from the match.
We hope Adam Cole will be in a better condition by the time he has his match.
