AEW Biggest Star Cancels Double or Nothing Match?

Vince McMahon has been WWE Chairman since 1982 when he bought WWE from his father Vince Sr and his partners. McMahon saw quite a few changes in his company over the last few decades on top of that. All through that, the WWE Chairman continued to adapt to the changing times.

However, many fans now feel that he is out of touch and simply has no idea what is good for a WWE Superstar and their growth. The WWE Chairman is larger than life in many ways and he also has his own oddities and problems as well. He also threatened a WWE star in a recent gym video.

MJF did not appear during AEW’s Fan Fest on Saturday, with many thinking he wants to sign with Vince McMahon and WWE.

Early Sunday morning, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com provided the following update.

“We are told MJF is still in Las Vegas as of this writing, which would mean he did not fly back to the East Coast, which until an hour or so ago remained a possibility. For those who are asking if the situation is a work, that is a big NO, but obviously everything can be retroactively converted into one if everyone gets on the same page.”

MJF is not backstage at Double or Nothing, Dave Meltzer reports.
