AEW cut the segment of Mark Henry interview

Tony Schiavone on What Happened When with Tony Schiavone recently revealed that the Mark Henry interview from the latest episode of Dynamite was originally planned for the Pay Per View when Mark Henry made his first appearance. However, they had to cut it because they were running short on time.

Schiavone also said he talked to Henry at the backstage before he went out there and asked him if he knew what he was gonna say, to which Henry replied “I always know what I’m gonna talk about.”

Then when it came time to do the segment, Henry pointed at his watch as he came out and he did it to tell Schiavone to end the segment as they were short on time.

Henry is set to be the color commentator on a brand new AEW show called Rampage set to air on Friday nights starting from August 13.
