AEW confirms TV deal with Turner Network

Update: In a new tweet as seen below, the company has confirmed some more details regarding their partnership with the network promotion:

Later this year, WarnerMedia will provide exclusive multi-platform access for fans to watch AEW events, airing live weekly matches on TNT in prime time, as well as streaming them through WarnerMedia’s B/R Live and on pay-per-view. A leading digital sports enterprise, B/R Live’s high fan engagement will provide an invaluable opportunity to build AEW’s audience.

However so far the company hadn’t announced anything officially so the fans were still skeptical about these ‘game-changing’ TV deals of the promotion.

Though we got the first taste of what was coming last week when a report came out revealing that the company will be having a 2-hour weekly program which will be broadcasted on TNT.

And while the compelete details of their new wrestling show are still unavailable, the channel confirmed the news of the company’s broadcast via the following tweet:

With this major confirmation, it’s safe to say that WWE is going to have at least some competition from the newly formed promotion and they’ll have to watch out for the Tony Khan owned promotion.
