AEW’s Double Or Nothing ticket announcement party will feature “spectacular new signings” and “surprise special guest”

All Elite Wrestling’s first live event dubbed “Double or Nothing,” will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, 25 May. The promotion has announced that a ticket announcement party will be held for the event next week on Thursday, February 7 at the MGM Grand’s Splash Pool. Details about new talent and partnerships will be revealed at the event.

The announcement hyping the party mentions a couple of interesting things. Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks and Brandi Rhodes will reveal “spectacular new signings,” “exciting new partnerships” and a “surprise special guest.”

Regarding the speculation on who will show up at the event, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter gave some details and said that a lot of talent that were not present at the Jacksonville Rally will be present at the party.

Two names that are expected to be there according to the report are Bea Preistley (who is not signed yet), and Japanese wrestler CIMA from the Chinese promotion Oriental Wrestling Entertainment (OWE).

The biggest name that will likely appear at the event, can be Kenny Omega. He could probably be the “surprise special guest” the promotion mentioned. Meltzer believes that there is a high chance that Omega will be at the ticket announcement party, similar to Chris Jericho’s appearance at the rally.

The Double or Nothing Ticket Announcement Party will be streamed online live on all of AEW’s social media accounts starting 6pm PST / 9pm EST. Make sure to tune in on WrestlingEdge for updates on the event.
