The former WWE star Bray Wyatt was shockingly released by the company. AEW have already roped in some high profile stars from WWE. Stars like Adam Cole,Bryan Danielson(Daniel Bryan in WWE),Andrade El Idolo have joined the promotion. CM Punk also made his return to pro-wrestling in AEW. There have been multiple speculations regarding the future of Wyatt. PWInsider reported that AEW President Tony Khan who is currently on WFAN‘s Moose & Maggie Show in New York City spoke about Wyatt. Tony Khan on potentially signing Bray Wyatt
Khan was asked about the potential of former WWE star Windham Rotunda aka Wyatt coming into the company. Khan said that no formal talks have taken place but Wyatt could certainly join AEW down the road.
“He’s a great wrestler, and I have to be honest, we haven’t talked at all. I’ve known him in personal life, but in reality, we haven’t talked. But you never know.”
We will have to see what the future holds for Wyatt and if he eventually decides to sign a deal with Tony Khan’s company.
