The Wednesday Night Wars continued this week as NXT and AEW Dynamite battled it out. Both had stacked shows from top to bottom, but it seems AEW came out on top this week.
According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite brought in 866,000 viewers with a .33 in the 18-49 demographic. On the other hand, this week’s episode of NXT garnered 732,000 with a .19 in the 18-49 demographic. Dynamite beat NXT by over 130, 000 viewers.
Last week’s episode of Dynamite saw it receiving 835,000 viewers, having a .26 in the 18-49 demographic. While this was a decrease compared to the previous week’s show, it defeated NXT in ratings as NXT managed 696,000 viewers with .18 in the 18-49 demographic.
The week before that, AEW drew 1.016 million viewers, with a 0.37 in the 18-49 demographic. WWE NXT drew 838,000 viewers with a .22 rating in the 18-49 demographic. However, the two shows did not air on the same day that week.
