AEW Dynamite beats NXT in viewership this week

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite took place on the Chris Jericho Cruise. The episode was pretaped against NXT’s live show. It seems AEW fared better this week.

According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW Dynamite received 871,000 viewers. On the other hand, NXT got 769,000 viewers.

However, AEW received lower ratings compared to last week, where they got 940,000 viewers. NXT saw a slight increase in viewership compared to last week’s 700,000 viewership.

The Wednesday Night Wars continue to intensify as both companies try to put on the best product for the fans.

As long as AEW does not have a rerun or isn’t available online like NXT, it should come as no surprise that AEW wins week after week.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

NXT is more for the wrestling fans who wants to watch good wrestling. But AEW nobody really cares it hasn’t done anything special to make me want to watch it.

The war isn’t actually intensifying anything. I watched NXT on the Network every Wednesday. Now that it’s on USA I stopped watching. I tried giving AEW a chance but wasn’t impressed. There’s nothing exciting about this “war”

The fans really do not care about ratings , and the only ones that should are the wrestling executives , and surely not a wrestling based web sites . Let the fans enjoy WHATEVER wrestling show they choose , if not all of them ! STOP pitting one against the others ! PLEASE stop doing it , most fans are tired of it ! Good luck to all !
