AEW Dynamite defeats NXT in ratings this week

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite brought Winter Is Coming and was the biggest episode of the show yet. NXT aired the go-home episode of the show before NXT TakeOver: WarGames. It seems Dynamite did very well this week.

According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW Dynamite’s Winter Is Coming received an overnight average of 913,000 fans. It also got a .42 in the 18-49 demographic. On the other hand, WWE NXT managed 658,000 viewers with a .16 in the same demographic.

This is a massive increase compared to last week’s episode, which garnered only 710,000 viewers for its two-hour broadcast while NXT got 712,000 viewers. Dynamite drew a .26 rating in the 18-49 demographic, while WWE NXT managed a .14 rating. While NXT defeated Dynamite in viewership, it did not defeat them in ratings.

The week before’s Dynamite garnered 850,000 viewers and managed a .37 in the 18-49 demographic, and they were #7 in cable for the night. NXT did not break into the top 50 cable shows. The show managed 638,000 viewers and a .14 in the 18-49 demographic. They ranked #56 in the night.
