AEW Dynamite defeats NXT in ratings this week

AEW held a Bash At The Beach special episode this week as they faced NXT in the Wednesday Night Wars. It seems the special helped in ratings.

According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW Dynamite received 940,000 viewers this week. They scored a 0.38 in the 18-49 demographic. On the other hand, NXT got 700,000 viewers with a 0.21 in the 18-49 demographic.

In comparison, last week’s AEW Dynamite drew 947,000 viewers and did a .36 in the 18-49 demographic. WWE got 721,000 viewers with a .19 in the 18-49 demographic.

AEW has the upper hand in the Wednesday Night Wars so far. We will have to see how long they can keep the momentum going.

AEW is fun to watch because the fans are into it. We don’t need this silly unnecessary monopoly which creates a product which is anti-fan. There is a reason the crowds at RAW and Smackdown usually appear bored or try to sabotage the show.

Not bad for a t shirt company

NXT keeps winning with old people in the ratings. Explains a lot actually.

Don’t tell me to shut up, you pissant. You may worship at the feet of the Young Bucks, but the true wrestling fans know better.

Shut up mark. What’s important is the TV ratings, nobody cares about the network views.

That’s because people thought Bash at the Beach was going to be important. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t. I’m glad that AEW is doing well, but all these AEW diehards need to remember that between the USA airing and the replay on the WWE Network, NXT probably does at least 300,000 more viewers each week than AEW.
