AEW filing trademark, possibly for new match concept

AEW continues to have many plans in the pipeline and this includes a possible violent match concept, going by their recent trademark filings.

According to recent filings, AEW registered a trademark for “Blood Brothers” on September 15h. According to a report by Heel By Nature, this was not registered by their usual trademark attorney Michael Dockins. It was in fact done by Bradley M Stohry.

It was stated in the filing that “Blood Brothers” is set to be used for “wrestling exhibits and performances by professional wrestlers.” It is indicated from other wordings that it is likely to be a type of match concept.

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wresting exhibits and performances by professional wrestlers; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing and staging events with wrestling fan club members;

We will have to see when the Blood Brothers idea comes to fruition.
