AEW Make Surprising Offer To Mark Henry

AEW Owner Tony Khan recently offered to have Mark Henry come to visit an AEW event this summer when Henry discussed wanting to come to Jacksonville Jaguas’ training camp. transcibed Khan and Henry’s remarks from Busted Open Radio on SiriusXM.



Henry said, “I commited to wanting to come and help the young guys get acclimated, and get invested into Jacksonville’s community.” He added that he wanting to bring his son.

The World’s Strongest Man added, “When does training camp start? Because I am definitely coming.”

Khan responded, “Training camp will be in July, it’s going to be a great summer.”

He added, “We’re going to have a great time, you’ve got to come down. AEW would love to have you visit, AEW and the Jags anytime.” If Henry is enticed to join AEW he would be able to reunite with his friend Big Show, who debuted on Dynamite on Wednesday.

Mark Henry recently launched a Pro Wrestling Tees store, so he isn’t currently under WWE contract. Henry has said he would like to wrestle a match in the next 6 months. This story rules out though that Henry is the ‘Hall of Fame’ worthy signing debuting at AEW Revolution on Sunday. WWE reacted to Brock Lesnar AEW signing rumors on Friday.
