AEW officially announces the inaugural TNT Championship

All Elite Wrestling has officially confirmed the addition of their newest title, the TNT Championship. With the AEW World Championship serving as the main title for the promotion, the TNT Championship is likely to be the promotion’s highly-awaited mid-card title.

 


 

On the recent edition of Road To Dynamite, AEW officially announced that the TNT Championship will soon be introduced and the promotion later confirmed the news on various social media platforms, as well.

All Elite Wrestling is yet to unveil the official design for the newly introduced title, however, it has been confirmed that a weekly 8-man Tournament will be contested to crown the inaugural TNT Champion.

As noted, the 8-Man Tournament will kick-start from the 8th of April and so far, no competitors have been confirmed for the tournament. However, it is likely that the likes of Jimmy Havoc, Joey Janela, Shawn Spears, and Kip Sabian, among other notable names, will be favorites to take part in this tournament and will certainly be favorites to eventually walk out as the inaugural TNT Champion, as well.
