AEW officially signed Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston appeared on AEW Dynamite last week, where he challenged Cody Rhodes for the TNT Championship. He was unable to win the title, but it seems he now has a permanent place in the AEW roster.

Kingston certainly impressed fans with his performance in the match. Following his loss, he cut a promo where he promised he would return to AEW. Here is what he said in the interview:

“I have nothing else in this life that I love doing. So whether AEW brings me back or not, I’m going to keep going. I’m going to keep going until the wheels fall off because I have nothing but this. I chose to have nothing else but this. Cody, you were the better man tonight. I got no excuses, you were. But, I’m not stopping. I’m gonna learn and move forward. That’s all I can do. Man, that’s it I’m gonna walk away, man. I’ll be back. I’ll be back.”

AEW then went to Twitter and provided confirmation that they have signed Eddie Kingston. Details regarding his contract were not mentioned, but fans will be glad to see him in action in an AEW ring.

Kingston is an 18-year veteran in the professional wrestling world and he certainly has a lot to show AEW fans. We will have to see how they will book the wrestler.
