AEW retiring current design for TNT Championship in honor of Brodie Lee

All Elite Wrestling has decided to retire the current design for the TNT Championship in honor of the former TNT Champion Brodie Lee.

The main event segment of this week’s Dynamite saw Tony Khan awarding a TNT title to Lee’s older son and the AEW President then named Brodie Lee Jr. the ‘TNT Champion for life.’

Then on the Dynamite post show, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone confirmed that the company has made the decision to retire the current design for the championship belt:

“Little Brodie, negative one if you will, is always going to have that TNT belt, we’ll come up with a new belt. That’ll be his. The particular belt that was given to little Brodie tonight has been retired”

As noted before, AEW has also signed Brodie Lee Jr. to a contract and he will apparently be joining the promotion in future when he is old enough.
