AEW Star Appears At WWE Smackdown In Photo

Indy wrestler Kayla Sparks made her appearance on Friday, February 25th, 2022 editions of WWE Smackdown and AEW Rampage. Sparks lost in a match against Serena Deeb that was taped before this Friday.

Sparks then made her appearance on the live Smackdown and was the “fan” that received a kiss from Los Lothorios. She essentially pulled off a Rick Rude and fans loved it as well.

Current AEW Star and former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho is no doubt one of the most accomplished and popular pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He has competed in several promotions such as WCW, WWE, ECW, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and AEW among others. Chris Jericho also previously dropped a major return bombshell.

Chris Jericho also competed in quite a few matches in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, starting from his IWGP United States Championship against Kenny Omega back in 2018 to his matches for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship with Tetsuya Naito. He also squared off against Hiroshi Tanahashi back in 2020.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has the final say in anything and everything that goes on in the company, for better or worse. Vince McMahon  sabotaged Jon Moxley’s matches as well.

During a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t WrestlingNews.co), acclaimed Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer stated on the contract status between Chris Jericho and All Elite Wrestling. Meltzer would proclaim that the company picked up an option on his contract which keeps him contracted to AEW until early 2024. This would mean that fans will see ‘The Demogod’ signed to All Elite Wrestling until he is at least 53 years old.

“Even Jericho, there’s an age situation, but he was picked up. Jericho signed his two-year extension. I don’t know if you know, but Jericho’s two-year (extension) was picked up in January 2020. He’s under contract till January 2024.”
