The two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is one of the greatest stars to step foot inside the squared circle. It has been reported earlier that Ric Flair is training with AEW star Jay Lethal. It was noted how he was seen preparing for a return to the squared circle. However, ‘The Nature Boy’ blasted Jay Lethal in a new video clip.
“Is he gonna hear this, if I say it? I don’t care. He’s got an attitude. He wants to be part of the show. And I said it ain’t gonna happen. You know how that happens all of a sudden and everybody’s feelings are hurt. You know, this is what we discussed, some people’s feelings are gonna be hurt.
I’m not saying anything bad. I don’t have the authority, even though [I am a] co-owner of this venture. I don’t have the authority to put him on the card. So I think he’s upset about that, but he’ll get over it.
They can block this out but you can’t make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t. And that’s kind of where we’re at with this deal. Edit that please.”
‘The Nature Boy’ competed in his last official match in September 2011 for TNA (IMPACT). Flair retired from active in-ring competition several years ago due to poor health. The 16-time world champion has had multiple surgical procedures performed on him over the years. Ric Flair will wrestle one last match the day after WWE SummerSlam. The bout will take place after the Starrcast fan convention at the Nashville Fairgrounds. The date is set for July 31, 2022.
