Malakai Black provides update on Darius Martin
In a recent interview on the latest episode of The Universal Wrestling Podcast, AEW star Malakai Black revealed why the tag team has been sidelined. According to Black, Darius was involved in a car accident that led to him being sidelined from the ring. This shocking news was revealed by Black. The House of Black leader shared the health update on Martin while he was talking about working with the other half of the Top Flight, who is also Darius’ brother. It appears the accident was really bad for him to be out for almost a year.
“I’ve wrestled Dante Martin but his brother, unfortunately–I wish him a speedy recovery, he had a really nasty car accident. He’s out for another, like six to nine months.”
It is great to know that he is safe. We wish a speedy recovery for Darius as the fans are eagerly waiting for him to return to the squared circle.
Speaking about Darius’ brother, Dante Martin, he faced Rey Fenix in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Qualifier. Towards the closing stages of the match, Fenix nailed a cutter but Martin fought back with a superkick. The two men went to the top rope and they tried a Spanish Fly but both landed on their feet. Martin missed the Nose Dive and Fenix took advantage getting the victory to qualify.
