AEW Star Headed To WWE After Suspension?

The AEW star Max Caster was reportedly suspended after his rap performance that offended many on the August 3 episode of Dark. It turns out that he could be headed to WWE as he followed WWE NXT on Twitter.

Max Caster performed a controversial rap on air

The show was edited to remove Caster’s lines and the AEW President Tony Khan called the rap “terrible”. He had announced that he would personally oversee every episode of content the company produces going forward due to the controversy stirred by Caster. Roman Reigns ‘Threat’ To Quit WWE Revealed

Caster had referenced Olympian Simone Biles, showed a misunderstanding of what happened with a mid-Aughts rape allegation, included some COVID misinformation and closed the rap with his shot at 19 year old Julia Hart – which was cut off as planned when Bowens snatched the mic from him.

A rumor came out that stated Caster was suspended from AEW for two months, and told to take a sensitivity training course he’d have to pass in order to return.

A source told Voices of Wrestling it was “total fiction”. Then Fightful Select posted a report stating “we were told his appearances were ‘on ice’ as of that time, with no details provided to us on how long or even if that would last.”

We will see how things progress going forward and he might end up in WWE as well.
