AEW Star Makes Massive WWE Contract Demand

The three-time Dynamite Diamond Ring winner Maxwell Jacob Friedman(MJF) has teased signing a deal with WWE on multiple occasions. He is one of the biggest stars in AEW and one of the top heels of the company as well. The Salt of the Earth has teased joining WWE upon his contract expiry.

MJF wants WWE to offer him a huge deal

His contract with AEW is set to expire in 2024 and the Pinnacle leader has made it clear that he’s open to jump ship, provided WWE rolls out more money than Tony Khan could possibly match. MJF recently appeared at a wrestling convention in Liverpool, England. He interacted with the crowd during a Q & A session. Here’s what he said when asked whether he sees himself in the WWE in the future.

Here is what he said:

“It’s an interesting question. I don’t know if you guys are aware of this but on January 1st of 2024, I’m going to be a free agent. Who here would want to see me in WWE? So, let me explain something to you people. I did not get into this business to make any of you happy. I got into this business to make as much money as humanly possible, and if Vince Kennedy McMahon is willing to shell out more money than Tony Khan, then yes, I would go to WWE.”

MJF, who is currently involved in a feud with Wardlow, also talked about his plans to get a shot at the AEW World Championship, which is currently held by ‘Hangman’ Adam Page. Maxwell said after he’s done with Wardlow he’ll go after the title and have a “reign of terror that will make Triple H and Jeff Jarrett seem like they had short simple title reigns.”

We will have to see if WWE desires to sign MJF after he becomes a free agent.
