AEW Star Quits After Losing To Sting?

Malakai Black blew a kiss to the crowd after House of Black lost to Sting, Darby Allin, and Miro at AEW All Out, after reports that he asked for his AEW release a few days ago. Sting blew mist in Black’s face, leading to Allin pinning him.

Will Black return to WWE? We’ll have to see, but Drew McIntyre has a bigger name in mind to see return.

Drew McIntyre has just sent a huge message to The Rock that we think may spark the comeback of ‘the great one,’.

After Drew took his loss to Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle, Speaking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, McIntyre noted that Reigns has been receiving a lot of help from his family. At Clash at the Castle – Reigns was helped by Solo Sikoa to retain. The former WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre, plans on visiting his arch-rival’s family members, including The Rock in Hollywood.

Drew said: “Like I said without the backup he belongs to me and it was very much a bit physical back-and-forth but he very much belonged to me. And the crowd was very much in my corner and I loved every second of it until the inevitable, he’s always got something up his freaking sleeve or Paul Heyman gifts him something or the family gifts him something. You know how big the family is.”

Drew then made a point that the Rock was on his list: “I mean, we’re gonna have to start going door to door around the world and pay some visits. So I don’t know, Hollywood here I come, I’ve been knocking on The Rock’s door soon.”

In terms of how the Rock will be used is all speculation. There’s really no clear cut way on how this will be done, or if the Rock will be used at all. It could very well just be something for Drew to say to boost ratings. That said, if the Rock does come back, it probably won’t be for much in ring action as he has endured injuries on his last few runs with WWE.

Obviously, Triple H is doing everything he can to bring the older demographic back to WWE and away from AEW and if this stunt with the Rock goes well, then we very well could see WWE pull ahead even further.
