Earlier today, Cody Rhodes revealed that we’d be getting some rankings for AEW’s roster. The men’s, women’s, and tag team divisions would all have their own Top 5 lists posted, giving us some insight on who is close to a title opportunity.
Shortly after that statement was made, AEW’s official Twitter revealed the rankings for all three divisions.
Men’s Rankings:
- Cody Rhodes (3-0-1 in singles, 4-1-1 overall)
- PAC (3-0-1 in singles, 3-1-1 overall)
- Adam Page (3-2 in singles, 4-4 overall)
- Kenny Omega (2-2 in singles, 5-4 overall)
- Jon Moxley (1-0-1 in singles, 1-1-1 overall)
Women’s Rankings:
- Emi Sakura (1-0 in singles, 2-2 overall)
- Britt Baker (2-1 in singles, 4-2 overall)
- Hikaru Shida (2-1 in singles, 3-1 overall)
- Allie (1-2 in singles, 3-2 overall)
- Nyla Rose (1-3 in singles, 2-3 overall)
Tag Team Rankings:
- The Lucha Bros (4-2 in tag team, both 5-3 respectively)
- Private Party (3-2 in tag team, both 3-4 respectively)
- The Young Bucks (3-2 in tag team, 6-3 respectively)
- Dark Order (2-2 in tag team, 3-2 respectively)
- Best Friends (2-3 in tag team, Trent is 3-5, Chuck Taylor is 3-4)
These rankings line up well, with Cody and Emi challenging for the AEW World & AEW Women’s World Championships, as well as both the Lucha Bros and Private Party facing SCU for the tag team gold.
