AEW Top Name ‘Contacts’ Kurt Angle

Before Christian jumped ship to AEW following his appearance at Royal Rumble to briefly reunite with Edge, many thought that Kurt Angle would be the superstar that Paul Wight was talking about coming to AEW. Could this deal still be on between Angle and AEW? This could be big. Kurt Angle Breaks Silence On AEW Debut Rumor.

Kurt Angle recently spoke out about his relationship with WWE and well and a relationship that he has built with AEW. As of now, Angle is a free agent it seems and could go just about anywhere should he choose to.

Angle, who was released by WWE in 2020 during pandemic firings, is now setting the record straight on where he will go next or if his career is done.

Angle stated the following: “Well, my relationship with WWE is really good and I like to keep it that way. I don’t have any plans of going to AEW. I haven’t really spoke to them that much. Just a couple messages sent back and forth but nothing serious. I have something going on with WWE right now and it most likely will materialize. I can’t talk about it but that’s what I’m waiting on and I don’t wanna mess that up. The company’s been so good to me and I wanna be loyal to them.”
