IWGP United States Champion Juice Robinson is scheduled to defend his title against Cody this Sunday. At NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed, Robinson will have a chance to knock off the NWA World Heavyweight Champion and prove just how good he really is.
After his match at Destruction In Kobe, where Jay White, YOSHI-HASHI, and Will Ospreay defeated Robinson, David Finlay, and Toa Henare, the US Champion spoke about his upcoming defense in Long Beach, California.
It’d be really easy for me to sit here and say Cody, The American Nightmare, born with a silver spoon up his ass, right? Cody was put on this Earth to be a professional wrestler, ladies and gentlemen. And you know what? He backs it up, because he’s a talented son of a gun. For me? Everything had to line up right.
