Ever since AJ Lee’s husband, CM Punk made his huge comeback to professional wrestling under the AEW umbrella; rumors have circulated that AJ Lee would be making a comeback as well with the most probable outcome also being under AEW to join the same roster as her husband. Sadly, this does not look like it will be the case for her to make an appearance in AEW with CM Punk. That being said, it is official that AJ Lee will be making an appearance at an indy event. While the event is much smaller than an event that WWE or AEW would host, it is nice to see the star getting back to action.
Even though that AJ Lee will only be at the indy event, this may be a step in the right direction. It is possible that AJ Lee is taking very small steps towards making a major comeback to professional wrestling.
Of course, this is just me entertaining a prediction and in no way do I or anyone else know what AJ Lee will be doing after making some small appearances. We truly hope that AJ Lee comes back full time to the entertainment world on a grand scale, but we will have to wait and see.
