AJ Lee did her part in WWE by becoming quite the household name in her years with the company. After leaving the company, AJ started speaking up more and more about the injustices that wrestlers go through – most notably that the divas of WWE went through. AJ Lee was interviewed by ‘Fair Game’ and the clip resurfaced recently where she blew the lid off of the way that WWE treats women. While AJ didn’t specify who made rude remarks, sexual remarks, or who tells the women to “lose weight”, she did say that WWE has a very certain way of doing things.
Among the list of specifications that WWE holds for women, AJ stated that they criticize the diva’s hair, nails, weight, clothing, and makeup. AJ stated that she didn’t get away with much. When she was a bit lenient on WWE’s ‘guidelines,’ someone had told her that “No one will want to have sex with you.”
Very disgusting indeed. AJ then stated that she cried for a very long time after being told this. After being told the former, AJs hair was dyed lighter and she was then conformed more to what WWE wanted. This is relavent now with the Mark Carrano news.
