One would think that CM Punk would be sad or at best disappointed after losing his UFC debut match against Mickey Gall in less than 3 minutes.
However, it appears that the former WWE Champion had the exact opposite reaction to his dominating loss than what the majority of the people may have thought.
During her recent appearance on The Jim Norton and Sam Roberts morning show, Punk’s wife AJ Lee was asked about his reaction backstage after his UFC debut.
Replying to it AJ revealed that the former WWE Star returned backstage with the biggest smile on his face and he was pretty psyched about his debut:
“I don’t think it hurt that for one night of working you get paid a million dollars. He was pretty psyched about that. He came backstage with the biggest smile on his face. He’s incredibly sweaty and I just threw myself on him and I’m like ‘I’m so freaking proud of you’.”
