AJ Lee has not competed in the squared circle ever since she left WWE a few years ago. She has kept herself busy with other ventures ever since her departure from professional wrestling.
During a recent interview with Fair Game, AJ Lee was asked whether she would have one last match in the ring. She won’t be saying ”never” as it means she will end up doing what she said she will never do. Here is what she said:
“Oh my gosh, I’d say never say never because every time I’ve said never in my life I’ve ended up doing the thing like ‘I’m never gonna date a wrestler’ — ‘I’m never gonna date another wrestler’ and then it keeps going and I married one. I say that I don’t know what the future holds… to not hold your breath, but never say never.”
So from the looks of it, it is better to assume that we might not be seeing her competing in the ring again as both she and her husband CM Punk are living quite happily together, away from the world of professional wrestling.
