WWE RAW Superstar AJ Styles apparently suffered a left arm injury during the Royal Rumble match. He entered at #18 and was eliminated by a returning Edge.
According to PWInsider, the injury took place prior to his elimination. He suffered the injury after landing awkwardly on his left shoulder following the Spear from Edge. He was seen holding his left arm, which appeared to be dangling.
A referee spoke to came to the apron and told Edge what happened, after which Styles was eliminated. He was then tended to by WWE officials and medics at ringside.
Following the conclusion of the match, AJ was seen with his arm wrapped up and ice on it. He is expected to undergo medical tests to check the severity of the supposed injury and if he has to take time off.
