AJ Styles’ injury confirmed by WWE

WWE is a harsh working environment where superstars can get injured at anytime as their bodies take a lot of bumps in the ring. WWE confirmed on this week’s RAW that AJ Styles is injured.

AJ Styles was scheduled to take part in a fatal four-way match to determine the new #1 contender for Seth Rollins’ Universal Title. The winner of that match would go on to challenge Seth Rollins for the Universal Title at the Super ShowDown event, but Styles lost that chance.

While his injury was confirmed on RAW, then nature of the injury was not revealed. On top of that, he was replaced by Baron Corbin in the match.

Later in the night, Styles admitted that he felt a pop in his lower back at Money In The Bank and he’d require tests to understand the extent of the injury. Then he was jumped by Baron Corbin to prove that this was all a work.

It is to be noted that Styles will take some time off from the road.
