AJ Styles one of the 10 longest-reigning WWE Champions of all time

As of November 1st, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles has logged 359 days as WWE Champion and has climbed to #10 on the list of longest reigning WWE Champions in the history of the company.

Styles has held the title since November of last year, and has defended the title against most of Smackdown Live in that time, including Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan, and Shinsuke Nakamura. Styles not only joins this prestigious list, but has also become the longest reigning WWE Champion in Smackdown history.

Also, if Styles defends his title once again and defeats Samoa Joe at WWE Crown Jewel, Styles can climb as far as #8 over the next few weeks leading up to Survivor Series. However, he has his work cut out for him if he plans on cracking the top 5, as all of those reigns lasted more than 1,000 days.

I don’t know what biitch keeps deleting my comment, but that’s a real
biitch thing to do, especially when you don’t have the balls to admit
who you are. I like AJ but he should have lost to Nakamura, and then
when AJ didn’t, he should have lost to Joe.

Yes but there were lots of wrestling fans probably more on the dirt sheet saying Brock Lasner was meant to hold the Unversal title to break CM Punk record that was not true.

Like I say to don’t see AJ Styles losing the WWE title anytime soon.

Lesnars reign is with the Universal title, not the WWE world title so no matter how long AJ holds it, it has no bearing on Lesnars run.
The only people he is likely to able to overtake are Hogan, Cena, Savage & Punk. Even if he does overtake all of those guys, the top five guys (which includes Hogans longest reign) are all from the old school when champions held titles for several years at a time.

I don’t really see him losing the WWE title anytime soon. They may let him break both CM Punk and Brock Lanser record man. Imagine if AJ Styles came to WWE in his prime.
