AJ Styles Scary Accident Video Worries Fans

WWE WrestleMania 38 is still currently ongoing and has been filled with unforgettable, hard-hitting, and memorable matches so far. One of those matches has been WWE Hall of Famer Edge taking on former WWE Champion AJ Styles. While Styles came up short in that contest, after getting speared mid-air due to interference due from former WWE United States champion Damien Priest, it was still a classic encounter.

However, it was still without incident as while Styles was making his entrance he appeared to be cut on the side of his face. As journalist Ryan Satin would explain, this was because Styles nicked the WrestleMania 38 set by accident. Satin would tweet: ” Hearing from a reliable source that AJ Styles clipped the set by accident while walking out and that’s why he got cut before the match. Not from the pyro.”

In other news regarding AJ Styles, during a recent interview with PWInsider, the Phenomenal one that was conducted before WrestleMania 38 weekend, Styles would discuss his expectations for his matchup with Edge and his in-ring future. Credit to 411Mania for the following transcription.

“Well, this is for me, the expectations, when they’re so high and people expect so much, it’s hard to reach those expectations. So I think it’s very hard, but we’re not going to go out there and try to please everybody. We’re going to go out there and tell the match, the story within that match that needs to be told. And hopefully, people will find it as entertaining as we do.”

Styles continued how he envisions the next couple of years for himself: “That is a tough question because I’m not sure how I envision it. I just hope that I’m able to stay healthy and excited enough to finish strong. I just want to keep going as hard as I can until I decide it’s time to hang them up. The Undertaker was able to decide it was time to hang them up. I want to make the decision. I hope that’s what I’m able to do in my career.”
