AJ Styles talks Jeff Jarrett and his HOF induction

The WWE turned a lot of heads this week when they announced their latest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame. While rumors swirled last week, it was hard to believe that WWE would allow Jeff Jarrett into the Hall of Fame considering the various issues he and Vince had with each other, ending with Jarrett’s live on screen firing on the last day of WCW’s existence.

And yet, here we are. The King of the Mountain, after a rough year in wrestling, has found his way into the open arms of the WWE after completing their sponsored rehab program back in December. To hype up his return even further, WWE asked AJ Styles on his opinion of Jarrett and their time spent in “other companies” together.

On the announcement of Jarrett’s induction:

Jeff started in the WWE. There were other things before that but WWE is where he made a name for himself, I think. I’ve worked with JEff a lot, I’ve gotten to know Jeff persoanlly. Everything he’s done for me, I can’t help but to be excited for him and proud that he’s going into the WWE Hall of Fame.

On the several current WWE talents who have been in business with Jeff in other companies:

Other companies? Jeff has helped. I think I could be the one he’s helped the most. There’s no doubt about that. But there are others here like Bobby Roode and Luke Gallows. There’s a number of guys that you had forgot he’s helped like Road Dogg and Ron Killings. There are so many people don’t even know that he’s helped and I definitely am one of them.

You can check out the rest of Style’s thoughts in the video below. Styles also mentioned the tough times Jarrett has dealt with over the years and working with a “certain club” in Japan.
