His announcement comes right after The Rock also tweeted about him, his wife, and his two daughters having been infected.

AJ Styles details COVID-19 experience

AJ Styles revealed that he had contracted the virus around a month ago. But thankfully, he did not have too many problems following his diagnosis.

Styles sent a message to The Rock and his family, wishing them well during such trying times.

“I also tested positive a couple of weeks ago, probably almost a month ago. I feel for people who have to deal with this, but I gotta say, I didn’t have that many problems with it. Hopefully The Rock and his family, hopefully, everybody is safe, and everybody is taken care of, and nobody has too bad of symptoms and stuff like that. It sucks, it’s not good for anybody.” H/T Cageside Seats

Styles shared that he feels he got lucky, since his symptoms were mild.

“I was one of the lucky ones, with that being said. I had a headache, and I never had a fever. Maybe a couple of boogers, that was about it.”

The Phenomenal One admitted to have been confused about the changing rules of battling COVID-19. But despite of that, he is optimistic about leaving the whole situation behind and moving forward if the safety guidelines are followed.

“You hear so many different things…now it’s only 10 days instead of 14 days that you have to quarantine yourself? So who knows. I’m as confused as you guys are with this whole situation. Nevertheless, keep doing what you’re doing. Keep washing your hands. I feel like we’re heading in the right direction with this whole thing, getting it behind us.”

WWE and COVID-19

Styles joins a long list of WWE names to have been infected by the virus.

Kevin Nash also confirmed earlier today that he and his family had tested positive for COVID-19. He replied to tweet from The Rock to talk about what he and his family went through in the process of recovery from the virus.

He also thanked The Rock for speaking up about it and prayed for their quick recovery.

Renee Young was one of the personalities who admitted to being tested positive in real-time. WWE apparently was displeased with her going public with the report. Kayla Braxton had also contracted the virus twice.
