The main event of this week’s episode of Raw saw the United States Champion AJ Styles going one on one against the Universal Champion Seth Rollins.
This match ended in a disqualification after Gallows and Anderson got involved in the bout and started beating Rollins. Though their attack didn’t last for very long as Ricochet and Braun Strowman made the save.
Angry about Braun Strowman interfering in his business, Styles called out the Monster Among Men in the following post-Raw video and challenged him for a US title match at next week’s episode of the show:
“Braun Strowman wants to get in The OC’s business, huh? He wanted to get my attention, well let me get your attention. I’m going to put my United States Championship on the line next week, against you Braun Strowman. Do I have your attention now? Next week, RAW. You’re mine.”
Now it’d be interesting to see if this bout turns out to be the start of a new rivalry between Styles and Strowman or if it ends up being a one-off thing and AJ continues his rivalry with Rollins after the match.
