The Phenomenal AJ Styles recently took to Twitter to display his complete admiration for, what he calls, the “wacky pair” that is Shane McMahon and WWE producer, Adam Pearce.
AJ starts off his tweet with “@WWE is clamoring, hoping, wishing, praying that I become the #WWEChampion at #WWEChamber.”
AJ then continues “@shanemcmahon and @scrapdaddyAP may be a wacky pair but they’re delivering what the people want!! #WWERaw” Could this be a possible snub at the former product before Shane and Adam started making headway?
This tweet dropped just one day after the WWE announced a huge match which AJ linked below his tweet. The match AJ is referring to is none other than the elimination chamber match at the upcoming WWE ‘Elimination Chamber’ pay-per-view for the WWE championship.
The much anticipated six-way matchup will feature a solid lineup of the defending WWE champion, Drew McIntyre, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Sheamus, AJ Styles, and the Money In The Bank briefcase holder, The Miz.
Even though support for AJ seems to be split right down the middle in his twitter comment section, the overall support of the match is pretty astounding. Comments such as “An all star 6 man Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship and I am looking forward to this match in 12 days.” “I can’t wait for that.” and “This must happen.” can all be seen in the ever-growing comment section.
AJ may very well be onto something in terms of this being great booking by Shane McMahon and Adam Pearce. We’re not so sure that all of the WWE universe is “clamoring, hoping, wishing, praying” that AJ becomes the new WWE champion, however.
