Alberto Del Rio Reveals Truth About Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy was recently arrested for DUI. He has had a history of DUI arrests and his struggles with drugs and alcohol. This matter has been well documented over the years and the nightmare is not over for him. Fans had hoped that he cleaned up, but that is seemingly not the case. The AEW star was arrested and hit for having a BAC of .294 during his recent arrest. A court date was set up for June 14th after he posted bail on June 13th.

 


 

As per the reports, Jeff Hardy’s appearance in court has been cancelled. 1st Coast Bail Bonds & Surety handled his $3,500 bond. It turns out his family had been dragged to the matter as well. His brother and AEW star, Matt Hardy had opened up on the matter.  AEW President Tony Khan had also stated that Jeff is on his last chance in AEW. The promotion had suspended Jeff without pay until he makes a full recovery. Recently former WWE star Alberto Del Rio shared his thoughts on Jeff Hardy’s current state.

While speaking to Riju Dasgupta, the former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio stated that he feels sorry for Hardy:

“I mean, it’s really difficult to be talking about these things. I feel sorry for him, for his family, and all I can say is, Jeff you are a fantastic person. I hope you overcome this situation and I hope you’re finally able to defeat your fears and your demons and all the things you have to be fixing. God bless you.”

Jeff Hardy was previously booked to team up with Matt Hardy and compete in a ladder match with The Young Bucks and The Jurassic Express in a Ladder Match for the AEW Tag-Team Championships. However, they were pulled from the match and he has been away ever since.
